To do so, we are looking for a bPeople Operations Manager /b to support our bCOO /b in building and running scalable people processes across HR operations, hiring, compensation benefits, and people programs. /p h3What are we looking for? /h3 pWe’re looking for a hands‑on People Operations Manager to keep our people engine running smoothly as we grow. You will join the Operations team and report to the COO, owning day‑to‑day HR operations (offers and contracts, onboarding and offboarding, welfare, compliance) and acting as a reference point for managers and employees on people processes. You will also coordinate our hiring process, from job postings and early screening steps to supporting later interview stages. Your work will bring structure, clarity and visibility to everything related to people at indigo.ai. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liOwn day‑to‑day HR operations: job offers, contracts, onboarding and termination operations, internship apprenticeship activations, and related documentation /li liManage the relationship and workflows with our labor consultant and payroll provider (bonuses, welfare, fringe benefits, leaves, disability hiring, strikes, etc.). /li liSupport and coordinate the end‑to‑end Hiring Process: create and manage job postings on the ATS, handle hiring requests and candidate pipelines, run the first screening steps (ATS review and 1st calls), and coordinate later‑stage interviews, assessments and offers, ensuring consistency across teams and a smooth candidate experience. /li liCoordinate onboarding and offboarding: checklists, devices and tools, access to systems, welfare setup, badges, policies, and account deprovisioning. /li liSupport Career Development, Performance Reviews and recurring feedback processes: templates, timelines, documentation, and communication to managers and employees. /li liMaintain and update people data, org charts, salary bonus tracking, and people dashboards. /li liSupport compliance and safety activities (medical visits, mandatory trainings, HR policies) with external advisors. /li liContribute to culture and engagement initiatives (retreats, internal events, surveys such as eNPS, company updates). /li liSupport basic budgeting and forecasting activities related to people costs (welfare, bonuses, payroll inputs) together with Finance. /li /ul h3You will need: /h3 ul liAt least 3 years of experience in People Operations / HR Generalist / Recruiter / Talent Acquisition roles, ideally in a fast‑growing company or startup. /li liUnderstanding of Italian labor law basics, contracts and payroll inputs, and experience collaborating with labor consultants/payroll providers. /li liHands‑on experience managing hiring processes: writing job descriptions, using an ATS, screening applications, and conducting first interviews. /li liStrong analytical and organizational skills, with confidence using spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) and documentation tools (Google Workspace, Notion or similar). /li liAbility to handle multiple open positions and HR processes at the same time, keeping structure and priorities clear. /li liHigh attention to detail, reliability, and a process‑driven mindset. /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with managers and leadership. /li liFluency in Italian and in English. /li liDiscretion and a strong sense of ownership when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. /li /ul h3We will really like (but they are not required): /h3 ul liExperience in SaaS / tech / startup environments. /li liPrevious exposure to structured hiring frameworks, assessment design, or AI‑based recruiting tools. /li liExperience with welfare platforms, bonus/welfare tax optimisation, or benefit regulations. /li liFamiliarity with ATS and HR tools (e.g. TeamTailor, Breezy, Workable, Deel, or similar). /li liExperience coordinating company events, retreats, or engagement and feedback initiatives. /li liGenuine interest in AI, startups and how technology can improve both candidate and employee experience. /li /ul h3Our values: /h3 pAt indigo.ai we prize bVision /b (curiosity and courage to challenge the status quo), bConnection /b (empathy, candor, and trust), bResponsibility /b (ownership, reliability, and follow‑through), and bExcellence /b (the habit of raising the bar and refining until it’s right).
