GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible for leading state-of-the-art Supplier Development processes to evaluate, select, manage, and develop Franklin Electric's global supply base. These processes support goals in Quality, Customer Service, Productivity, Value Enhancement, and New Product Introduction.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement best-in-class Supplier Development tools and processes globally, including Supplier Assessment, Scorecards, and Risk Assessment/FMEA.
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to enhance value, quality, delivery, and technology solutions, aiming to improve inventory turns, lead times, productivity, and supplier performance.
* Support Franklin Electric's Global Product Development Process through early supplier involvement, technology roadmapping, and risk management.
* Facilitate initiatives to improve supplier quality, delivery, and value, aligning with strategic goals.
* Evaluate suppliers for compliance, delivery, pricing, and quality; create onboarding practices and streamline relationships.
* Provide training and development to improve supplier capabilities and technical knowledge.
* Consolidate suppliers to enhance purchasing power and build stronger partnerships.
* Conduct review meetings to proactively address risks and issues.
* Drive supplier quality improvements through collaborative efforts, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Communicate supplier performance metrics through reports and presentations.
* Travel approximately 25% as required.

Education and Experience
* BS in a technical field required; MS/MBA preferred.
* 8+ years in operations, sourcing, or quality, with experience managing programs.
* Experience with global supplier development programs highly desired.
* Technical expertise in castings, machining, and plastics.
Computer Skills
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
