How does the application process work?
* you complete the application on the website thearkage.com (don’t forget to submit your myers-briggs profile and to attach your portfolio);
* you’ve got mail: we get back to you via email to arrange a first interview (usually within 1 week);
* first touch: an interview with Simona, People Care team manager, and with one person closest to your job position to assess your professional skills;
* team touch base: a second with the Servant Leader and/or Product Owner of your candidate team to assess your attitude and your compatibility with the team;
* almost done! we will discuss budgets and you will get a final interview with our CFO;
* welcome on board! Now an onboarding process begins.
At any stage of the selection process, if something does not go as intended, we will send you an email explaining the reasons within 30 days from the first application. If it happens, don’t worry! We periodically reopen the positions and if you are already in our DB you have more chances to join our ark in the future.

Who We Are & Who We’re Looking For
Arkage is looking for a Digital Art Director & Visual Designer with a future-focused mindset. In this role, you won’t just “execute” — you’ll be a pioneer of AI-enhanced digital aesthetics for international brands.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes the web and emerging technologies. You have 3–5 years of experience and see artificial intelligence as your main ally in transforming marketing strategies into memorable digital experiences.
Candidates holding a P.IVA will be considered preferentially.
What You’ll Do Daily (Responsibilities)
* Digital Visual Execution: You will design the visual identity of websites, landing pages, and social campaigns, where design precision meets the power of synthetic generation.
* UI/UX & Prototyping: You will design modern user interfaces in Figma, ensuring a smooth user experience and paying attention to every visual detail through collaborative workflows.
* Creative Pairing 4.0: You will collaborate with a Copywriter to blend generative visuals and text into perfectly calibrated messages for the digital ecosystem.
* Agile & Smart Delivery: You will manage your tasks efficiently, optimizing creative workflows through automation and AI tools to keep up with global market demands.
* AI-Driven Art Direction: You will develop the creative vision of complex projects using AI to explore new aesthetic territories and generate high-impact visual concepts.
Who You Are (Profile & Digital Mindset)
* Experience: 3–5 years in digital agencies, tech companies, or innovative environments.
* AI Native: You don’t consider AI a “plus,” but the foundation of your workflow. You constantly experiment with new models and generation techniques.
* Digital Obsessed: You are obsessed with pixel-perfect details and visual trends dominating social and web platforms.
* Proactive Problem Solver: You know how to adapt design and formats to solve technical challenges while maintaining aesthetic excellence.
Technical Skills
Core Digital & AI Skills (MANDATORY)
* Generative AI Mastery: Deep knowledge of major image and video generation models. Ability to create complex, consistent visual assets ready for commercial use.
* Advanced Prompt Engineering: Skilled in interacting with language and generative models to refine concepts, visual styles, and micro-copy.
* Figma: Strong proficiency in interface design, prototyping, and real-time collaboration.
* Adobe Suite (AI-Integrated): Full mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a specific focus on Generative Fill features and Firefly integrations.
* Motion Graphics: Ability to create animations and dynamic videos using After Effects, Premiere, or AI-driven video editing tools.
* English: B2 level (required to handle briefs and assets for international brands).
Digital Plus (Nice to Have)
* Web Culture: Knowledge of conversion logic and basic UX research principles.
* Workflow Automation: Experience integrating AI tools into creative production pipelines to scale content creation.
* Print Basics: Basic skills for adapting digital assets to print formats.
