PpISS International Spa è alla ricerca di un Corrosion Engineer per un impianto OilGas in Basilicata. /p h3SCOPE OF WORK /h3 pCorrosion Engineer will be the focal point for the assessment of the Corrosion Mitigation, the Monitoring and associated Inspection actions review based on the findings. /p h3MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liLiaising with the Laboratory manager for the chemical injection follow-up and associated sampling analysis results. /li liOrganize and follow the different requested campaigns (Corrosion Probes readings, Cathodic Protection, corrosion coupons retrieval) /li liReview the results and associated Inspection plans with the Inspection Method Engineer /li liCheck the operating parameters that are relevant to his activities using Process Data Management System (PDMS – PI) and define Integrity Operating Window to protect asset from corrosion threat /li liCoordinate activities of contractors for corrosion monitoring campaigns /li liProposes any relevant action to improve performance and availability of control system /li liWarns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts, /li liGuarantee that software produced for modification or corrective actions are in conformity with functional analysis /li liGuarantee that control system documentation is up to date /li liDesign the weekly and monthly report to monitor potential underperformance of the corrosion protection system (ex. Chemicals injection) /li /ul h3REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liLaurea Magistrale and/or Specialistica (as well Chartered Engineer, A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Laurea Triennale (as well Higher National Diploma HND or Certificate HNC, A-levels + 3 years’ study, BTS/DUT or equivalent) in metallurgy and/or corrosion /li li8 years experience in the field of corrosion and at least 3 years as corrosion specialist in petrochemical industry /li liDeep knowledge in the main corrosion mechanism and major corrosion threat in an upstream oilgas plant /li liA knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations /li liSpecific professional knowledge about API 580/581 – Risk Based Inspection and API RP 571 - Damage Mechanisms Affecting Fixed Equipment in the Refining Industry /li liGood knowledge about cathodic protection, Painting systems, corrosion mitigation (chemical injection), corrosion monitoring and more specifically with the use of Corrosion probes and coupons /li liAbility to work in a large multinational team /li liAbility to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others /li liPhysical ability to work in the climatic conditions of the site /li liAble to use Computerized Maintenance and Inspection Management System (CMIMS – SAP), CUSTOMER in house RBI system (FAME +), dedicated software like for probes reading and analysis etc /li liProven sense of responsibility, rigorous and methodical in the approach to operations.
