Why Join Us | DuPont Careers /p pThis position provides MIQA and reliability engineering leadership including implementation of the MIQA programs under the site Process Safety Management (PSM) system. This individual focuses on enhancement of equipment reliability through analysis versus first response, day-to-day troubleshooting of failed equipment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liMonitor equipment performance and troubleshoot equipment problems. /li liImplement applicable MIQA statutory and regulatory requirements for the PSM related equipment. /li liEstablish Maintenance Repair Operating (MRO) data in SAP and execute effective quality management processes for newly established PSM critical equipment. /li liLead as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigation. Apply engineering theory, practices, and principles to perform failure analysis, such as RCFA and 5-why, to determine root cause of equipment failures and conduct equipment performance evaluation. /li liPrioritize and drive reliability improvements based on cost, business objectives and reliability analysis. /li liExecute activities of the site MIQA heat map and action plans as directed by a site MIQA/reliability leader. /li liDevelop quality assurance plans and set up maintenance plans in SAP for minor capital projects. /li liPromote consistency by standardizing equipment and providing technical expertise for installation, check-out, maintenance procedures and start-up of all new critical equipment. /li liWork with maintenance supervision, planners, and mechanics to develop equipment repair procedures. /li liProvide coaching and support to maintenance technicians in preventative-predictive maintenance programs including lubrication, vibration, ISO calibration, and PM optimization, etc. /li liSupport identification of necessary spare parts for new and existing equipment. /li liSupport mechanical turnaround/shutdown teams providing input and leadership into needed equipment inspection and repair procedures, special equipment as required. /li liSupport the areas to ensure that the test and inspection plans, as well as the repair and changes, are implemented following the MI program, and comply with applicable statutory regulatory requirements and Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEPs). /li liAttend the Site or Unit in the Regional and/or Business MIQA and reliability network ensuring: ul liEffective information transfer from Regional and/or Business networks to Site / Unit. /li liProactively elevates Site MIQA and reliability issues and needs. /li liActively contributes to the development and implementation of Business, Regional or Global initiatives. /li /ul /li liEnsure the role of contractor administrator for the Site. /li liOnce gained sufficient experience and knowledge, the reliability Engineer may be considered for inclusion in the on-call team. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBS in mechanical engineering or related engineering field. /li liExperience in a chemical/manufacturing plant (or related industry). /li liMust be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. /li liGood English written and oral communication skills. /li liAbility to work as a team member in a respectful manner in a diverse work environment. /li /ul h3Preferred qualifications /h3 ul liWork experience in the manufacturing with a focus on the MIQA, reliability, or PSM. /li liUnderstands MIQA policy requirements for Process Safety Management (S21A), statutory regulatory requirements as applicable, and RAGAGEPs. /li liUnderstands the Maintenance Work Management Process (WMP) and its impact upon MIQA. /li /ul pJoin our Talent Community to stay connected with us! /p pDuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
