Our Amazon DSP team seeks a Senior Programmatic Solutions Consultant - Technical to join our growing team in Milan. In this role, you will independently resolve customer campaign execution issues by providing knowledgeable and responsive technical support to enterprise customers: programmatic trading desks. You will own issue investigation—identifying campaign configuration and software defects, reproducing complex cases across our DSP product, and researching solutions to unblock customers. You will also develop tools to scale service quality and provide input for product prioritization to address root causes of incidents, maintaining high customer service standards.
Key job responsibilities
* Handle complex customer issues through reproduction, root cause analysis, and prioritization
* Demonstrate deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills for critical programmatic advertising issues
* Serve as escalation point, owning resolution of complex, cross-organizational issues
* Communicate with internal teams to investigate, define workarounds, and resolve defects
* Support Amazon's advertising tech suite, including AAT, CAPI, ADM, and AMC-AWS Clean Rooms
* Prioritize issues based on customer impact using case management tools
* Contribute to training and documentation for internal and external users
* Automate procedures via scripting and data APIs for high-volume data analysis
* Identify solutions, communicate trends, and suggest customer experience improvements
* Mentor peers to enhance technical troubleshooting skills
* Drive continuous improvement and support strategy development
* Identify emerging issues and influence product priorities through technical investigations
Basic Qualifications
* 6+ years in technical troubleshooting or similar roles
* 5+ years in demand or supply-side programmatic advertising
* Experience in technical implementation and customer-facing support
* Technical writing or documentation experience
* Proficiency in executing SQL queries for troubleshooting and impact analysis
* Deep understanding of the programmatic ad ecosystem (bidding engines, pixels, tag managers, etc.)
* Professional communication skills in English and Italian
Preferred Qualifications
* Scripting/programming experience in Python, JS, TypeScript, Java
* Familiarity with Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure), Amazon Marketing Cloud, AAT, CAPI
* Ability to work with APIs, JSON, log files for troubleshooting
* Knowledge of BI tools like QuickSight, Tableau
* Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
