Employer: International Main Contractor The Opportunity A leading international contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe is seeking Design Coordinators to join a major live scheme in Milan.

We are recruiting for two key disciplines:
\n
- Design Coordinator – MEP
- Design Coordinator – CSA
These roles will support the Design Manager and project delivery team, ensuring design information is coordinated, technically robust and aligned with programme requirements on a fast-track mission-critical project.\n
Design Coordinator – MEP
\n
Suitable for candidates with experience coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design packages on complex construction projects.
\n
Key Experience
\n
- Mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling, pipework)
- Electrical systems (LV/MV, power distribution, switchgear)
- BMS, ICT and specialist data centre systems preferred
- Coordination between consultants, subcontractors and site teams
Responsibilities:\n
- Review and coordinate MEP design information prior to construction
- Manage RFIs and technical queries
- Ensure design is aligned with programme and procurement schedules
- Coordinate clash detection and design workshops
- Liaise between consultants, subcontractors and construction teams
- Monitor design deliverables and ensure timely issuance
Design Coordinator – CSA\n
Suitable for candidates with experience coordinating civil, structural and architectural design packages.

Key Experience
\n
- Structural design coordination (concrete, steel, superstructure)
- External works and utilities
- Architectural detailing and finishes
- Experience working alongside site and commercial teams
Responsibilities:\n
- Review and coordinate xpdaelo CSA design documentation
- Support technical reviews and value engineering exercises
- Manage drawing revisions and design changes
- Coordinate consultants and subcontractor design inputs
- Ensure buildability and compliance with project specifications
- Assist in resolving technical issues during construction
Requirements\n
- Experience working on data centre or technically complex projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and buildability
- Ability to manage multiple design packages simultaneously
- Good communication and coordination skills
