Ph3Overview /h3 pbPOSITION OVERVIEW : /b Under general direction of the FS Operations Supply Chain Director the Plant Director is responsible for all operations within the assigned facility leading the operational direction of Manufacturing to assure Company delivers lowest possible cost developing a culture of continuous improvement through process improvement and enhancing employee skills and capabilities. As a member of the EMEA SC FS Leadership Team the Plant Manager participates with other Supply Chain Leaders in the overall planning coordination and control of business initiatives and will be a critical leader of the Journey to Excellence (JTE); the integration of High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) into both the assigned facility and the broader Supply Chain Organization. The Plant Manager is accountable for the budget for all plant activities. He / she is also responsible for maintaining the physical site equipment materials and employee welfare. This is to be done in accordance with McCormick standards as well as local regulations. As Plant Director he / she represents McCormick Co Inc and as such is responsible to interface with the local community in a fashion consistent with company procedures policies guidelines and stated values. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepares and submits annual expense and capital budgets and operates within the approved budget for the plant. /li liDevelop short and long range (5 years) facility and equipment plans to meet projections and goals of the business. /li liIdentify prioritize plan and direct the execution of operational related issues through Operations leaders (Operations Managers / Department Managers / Team Managers). /li liAnalyze manufacturing performance and initiate actions to correct deviations from schedules cost and other factors; /li liEtablish and maintain comprehensive continuous improvement processes that maximize productivity reliability quality and safety while reducing inventory and waste. /li liAssure effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of quality product. /li liCreate an empowered culture to ensure that organization and its people understand the goals and objectives of the business and that they have the resources and leadership support to accomplish them. Provide an environment which ensures and provides for open and healthy communications. /li liSelects and develops key leadership roles within the Plant to develop internal candidates for succession planning. Oversees that training programs are in place to develop skill levels of all employees in the organization. /li liEnsures strong relationships are developed and maintained with key customers and venders. /li liDevelop and maintain strong functional relationships with Procurement Planning Finance Logistics Sales and Marketing etc. to ensure new products are manufactured on time and in specifications to meet customer demand. /li liAssures compliance of all plant operations with organizational policies and procedures and national regional and local regulations. Assures a safe working environment ensuring that all employees understand their role and commitment to the safe operation of the facility. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liA minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility with a minimum of 7 years leading in a TPM or Lean manufacturing environment /li liTrack record of delivering budget performance and CCI targets /li liOperationally savvy with a strong strategic orientation /li liThe position requires significant understanding of relationship between the Operations departments and their role in supporting the commercial goals for Consumer business /li liThe position requires understanding of Finance Human Relations and of the commercial markets in which we participate /li liSolid people management experience and proven track record in effective leadership through coaching and decision making approach /li liTransformational potential able to extend his accountabilities in the future as part of the EMEA Talent succession plans /li liInfluencing skills to win confidence of internal and external stakeholders including at the most senior levels /li liPassionate about people with the ability to inspire /li liThe flexibility to work up and down the organisation with effective communication skills /li liEnergy passion and resilience to cope with changing demands in competitive marketplace /li liAbility to rapidly build credibility including effective relationship-building and team-working /li liAble to remain calm and apply analytical thought to effective problem resolution in a variety of complex situations /li liItalian and English speaking required /li /ul pAs an Equal Opportunities employer McCormick is committed to a diverse workforce. /p p#LI-KT1 /p pRequired Experience : /p pDirector /p pKey Skills /p pMac Os,Counselling,Data Warehousing,Informatica,AC Maintenance /p pEmployment Type : /p pFull-Time /p pExperience : /p pyears /p pVacancy : /p p1 /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
