British American Tobacco - Talent Development Manager (Rome, Italy) BAT is evolving into a global multi-category business with the purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow by Building a Smokeless World. We are seeking a Talent Development Manager to support our HR team in Rome, focusing on talent management, employer branding, performance management, talent development, and engagement. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business leaders and HRBP to shape and execute talent strategies, including succession and diversity planning. Manage talent projects and control budgets for effective resource allocation. Track key talent metrics, analyze data, and provide reports to support strategic decisions. Facilitate Talent Review Meetings and core talent processes like performance management and development. Design external talent strategies through targeted channels and media. Oversee recruitment activities, from attraction to assessment centers, maintaining relationships with external partners. Contribute to a positive work environment and execute employee opinion surveys. Implement Learning & Development strategies, including training employees and managers on talent management practices. Engage with partners to ensure the right competencies are in place and foster continuous skills improvement. Qualifications University Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. At least 4 years of experience in talent development processes. Strong understanding of talent processes in a multinational context, including cultural nuances. Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with HR systems like SAP SuccessFactors or Workday. Interest and knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and speed. Strong prioritization skills and resilience in a changing environment. Collaborative communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
