Whether it’s a rail link, wind farm, or flood defence barrier, the goal is to create tangible benefits for individuals, communities, and economies. /p pWe require a Senior Risk Professional, to support the Director of Project Controls and our rapidly growing team of risk professionals, to develop and implement our integrated risk management service across our capital programme portfolio. This role has the opportunity to work on our growing risk portfolio of key Infrastructure and Non‑Infrastructure clients. /p pWe have risk opportunities with clients at critical stages of the project/programme lifecycle from feasibility/set‑up including maturity assessments through to design/implementation and assurance, all underpinned by best‑in‑class risk modelling analysis using the latest techniques in the markets. You will have responsibility for having a leading role in strengthening Gleeds’ Risk Management proposition, both internally and externally with our diverse and inclusion risk team. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDemonstrate proactive and constructive behaviours to harness risk information across a project to respond with agility to project challenges and variances proactively. /li liChallenge the norm/traditional risk management ways and contribute views to shape Gleeds’ future risk management approaches including, but not limited to, Carbon/Net Zero, Sustainability, TCFD, Social Value, Cyber certainty and Customer Experience. /li liLead/support delivery of risk management commissions on major programmes and projects. /li liConduct quantitative risk assessment (integrated, cost and schedule) to inform business cases, investment decisions and project/programme performances. /li liDemonstrate proficient to experienced levels of competence with tools such as @risk, Safran, PRA or similar. Furthermore, knowledge of new technologies including Nodes Links and nPlan beneficial. /li liConfidently interrogate and present key risk findings to clients including QRA model outputs, recommendations to support decision making and assurance of supply chain risk management performance. /li liLead and facilitate risk workshops for the identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities and mitigations including What‑If and Scenario Analysis. /li liFamiliarity with Risk, Project Controls/PMO and PPP Delivery Maturity Assessments and what good looks like. /li /ul ul liProvide guidance and training to project teams on risk management tools and techniques. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications Skills: /h3 ul liA recognised diploma or degree or be qualified with professional certifications in risk management (e.g., PMI‑RMP, APM Risk, IRM) preferred. /li /ul p6+ years in risk management within major projects or regulated industries (nuclear, infrastructure, energy, defence,). /p h3About us: /h3 pA world of opportunity /p pGleeds is a place to be part of something bigger.
