Technical Expert Role
This role involves delivering software products to customers, guiding them from initial discussions through to post-deployment support. The ideal candidate will act as the chief technologist and trusted advisor, orchestrating the overall technical approach for and with the customer across all phases of the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the chief technologist for customer accounts and a trusted advisor to their technical teams.
* Lead technical discussions, explaining how our portfolio and architected solutions address customer requirements.
* Engage with new and existing customers to understand their requirements and deployment environments.
* Deliver our software products, ensuring they meet customer needs and specifications.
* Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise.
* Collaborate closely with the Sales Account Manager and the R&D team to ensure seamless communication and integration.
* Document and plan for new features based on customer feedback and requirements.
* Identify and mitigate any technical sales issues, influencing the overall account plan.
Requirements:
* A strong technical background with experience in Linux, ESP32, Yocto, and other embedded build systems.
* The ability to understand customer requirements and the environments where devices are deployed.
* Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively act as a liaison between customers and the R&D team.
* Experience in developing custom integration software for embedded systems.
* Familiarity with the entire lifecycle of an embedded product, from early-stage discussions through to post-deployment support.
* The ability to translate technical knowledge into proposals, presentations, standard demos, and customer workshops.
