ABB E‑mobility is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to strengthen our global supply base, ensure compliance, and elevate supplier performance to world‑class standards.

Your Responsibilities
Drive supplier qualification, audits, and compliance processes
Ensure flawless onboarding and production readiness for new suppliers
Oversee supplier product qualification, including PPAP support
Lead rapid issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions
Manage supplier claims and collaborate with Buyers on commercial alignment
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and scorecards
Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain and enhance local supplier quality processes aligned with global standards
Ensure accurate reporting of supplier quality costs and data in approved systems
Lead or support key quality projects across the organization
Partner closely with Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, CI, HSE, R&D;, and Project Teams
Represent the Voice of the Supplier while upholding ABB requirements
Manage and coach Supplier Quality Engineers and Incoming Quality teams
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality within industrial or technology‑driven environments
Strong knowledge of supplier quality management systems, quality control techniques, and related methodologies
Proven experience conducting and leading supplier audits and assessments
Hands‑on experience with supplier part and process qualification; APQP/PPAP experience is a strong plus
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes
