Job Overview: Bell Persons ensuring that all procedures are performed to the hotel’s standards. Performs the responsibilities of his position and assists where necessary to ensure optimum service to guest/visitors. Transports guest luggage to/from guestrooms. Through knowledge of all Hotel Services, Hours of Operation, Guestroom Features and Amenities. Responsible for attending to immediate needs of each guest upon arrival and follow through throughout their stay. Key person to provide Warm Welcome and Fond Farewell. Essential Skills: 1. Ability to enforce hotel’s standards, policies, and procedures. 2. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous. 3. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Bell Stand and by telephone. 4. Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintains concentration and makes conscious decisions. 5. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and delegate work to staff in a fair and team oriented manner. 6. Ability to focus attention on details. 7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data. 8. Ability to ensure security of guestroom access. 9. Ability to be flexible as the job changes. 10. Ability to analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment. 11. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and evenings if necessary. 12. Ability to work well under pressure of check-in/check-out of our guests and in coordinating all departmental functions. 15.
