Overview
Join Vertiv in Piove di Sacco as a Process Manufacturing Engineer focused on optimizing manufacturing flows and industrializing new products. You will partner with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements through Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll support NPDI/ECO/ECN activities, update process documentation, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliable, compliant operations. Responsibilities
- Support and optimize manufacturing processes using drawings, BOMs and work instructions
- Analyze production flows and propose improvements for safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Industrialize new products and engineering changes (NPDI / ECO / ECN)
- Define and update manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process flows, layouts, routings)
- Provide production support during daily operations and troubleshoot issues
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EHS
- Support line balancing, capacity analysis, and layout optimization
- Validate tools, equipment, and production processes
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, procedures, and safety regulations
- Apply LEAN principles and 5S (VOS) methodology
- Contribute improvement proposals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow integrated management system procedures and contribute to standards for customer satisfaction and culture
Qualifications
- Secondary technical school or higher education in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related fields
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly methods
- Experience with process improvement and problem-solving techniques
- Basic knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, VSM)
- Ability to work with measuring equipment
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good English knowledge
- Compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
