PpDana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal‑management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative‑energy powertrains. Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off‑highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original‑equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. /p h3Position Summary /h3 h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liLeads all engineering activities at the assembly plant (excluding Manufacturing Engineering), ensuring effective coordination between project engineering and the assembly floor during industrialization. /li liRepresents Engineering in internal and customer meetings for products in production, communicating milestones, issues, change requests, and risks to ensure alignment. /li liPrepares Engineering Design and Testing cost estimates, tracks project spend, and secures cost recovery for production phase design changes in collaboration with Sales and stakeholders. /li liSupports Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives for industrialized products as the Engineering representative. /li liLeads engineering development from technical evaluation through production for aftermarket opportunities and new applications based on industrialized products. /li liEnsures clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, escalating engineering risks and issues impacting the assembly plant or production. /li liActs as Engineering liaison with Plant and Customer Quality teams, supporting issue resolution during industrialization and early production (assembly issues, scrap, deviations, and customer claims). /li liLeads engineering change management activities on the assembly line, ensuring timely and controlled implementation of design, process, or technology changes. /li liDrives the capture and sharing of lessons learned from production issues to prevent recurrence in future projects. /li liDefines and reports engineering KPIs related to launch performance, production efficiency, and on time delivery. /li /ul h3Job Position Requirements /h3 pEducation: University bachelor degree - Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering /p pProfessional background /p ul liExperience in the automotive industry in a development environment, preferably at Tier1 or OEM e‑propulsion department /li liMinimum of 3‑5 years of experience in powertrain or e‑powertrain systems /li liKnowledge of electrified powertrains. This means having the background and ability to think at the electrified powertrain system level. ul liElectronic hardware (ECU and power electronics) /li liMechanical hardware (motor, hydraulics, gearbox) /li liControls software /li liElectromagnetic, NVH or thermal analysis /li /ul /li liRelevant experience in requirements management tools e.g., Design, CAE, ASPICE, CMMI, Agile, PDP, Polarion, etc. /li liProven problem solving techniques (e.g. RedX, Ishikawa diagram, 5‑Whys) /li liExperience in working with PLM system (e.g., Teamcenter) /li liBasic understanding and ability to utilize CAD software (e.g., Creo Parametric) /li liAdvanced skills in drafting technical reports and presentations with Microsoft Office tools /li liExperience in automotive functional safety according to ISO26262 Aspice /li liAbility to achieve results and work under pressure, proactive forward thinking in an environment with changing priorities. /li liExperience in team and personnel management, an asset /li liDemonstrated ability to document your work. /li liAbility to work in multidisciplinary teams and in global, matrix‑structured organisations. /li liInnovative with a positive, can‑do mindset and attitude. /li liConfident communicator who can build rapport quickly and influence at all levels. /li liSound analytical and organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively. /li liExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills. /li liEffective listener and communicator. /li /ul p“If you are not contacted within 60 days after your application, the search should be considered filled.
