* Design software systems for our fold and napkin machinery within Detailed Engineering Department
* Program and manage software updates and improvements (PLC, panels, motion control)
* Work on the execution of projects collaborating with other functions involved in manufacturing process and with external suppliers
* Interact with customers to solve and assist customer requests and needs
* Prepare reports and documentation about machinery software and work progress
* Beinvolved in machines startups and tests, both in-house and on clients’ site if needed
* Apply technical solutions for safety according to regulatory standards
To succeed in this role you should have:
* Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
* PLC programming knowledge (Siemens/Rockwell preferred), LAD, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Safety, drive and axis control
* General knowledge about mechanical and fluidic systems is a plus
* Proficiency in Ms Office
* Experience with C and Visual Basic
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Accuracy and precision
* Willing to travel
