He/she provides guidance and leadership to develop, implement, and drive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies aligned with Alstom’s business objectives, including extensions of time (EoTs), variation orders, and contract amendments. He/she ensures proper record keeping and file preparation to support robust claim files. /ppuKey accountabilities: /u /pulliEnsure application of the Contract, Claims and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance. /liliPrepare and communicate Contract Summaries, ensuring they are regularly updated. /liliAnalyze contracts to develop and implement Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plans. /liliEnsure timely elaboration, communication, and updating of the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) by project team members. /liliMonitor project progress toward contractual obligations and milestones. /liliIssue contractual notices to customers/partners promptly. /liliEstablish and implement project-specific commercial procedures for correspondence, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims files. /liliMaintain reliable filing systems for correspondence with customers/partners. /liliManage correspondence analysis with the Project Manager. /liliDevelop project-specific processes for contract/claim management. /liliAdopt a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis to protect Alstom’s interests. /liliMonitor and manage claims/counterclaims, including documentation and negotiation support. /liliTrack customer/partner requests for variations, change orders, and extensions, and follow up to closure. /liliProvide advice on issues, risks, and contractual/claims activities aligned with project and business objectives. /liliReport contract management and claims activities to relevant stakeholders, including legal and contract teams. /liliTrain key stakeholders in contract/claim management. /liliAnticipate risks and propose counter-strategies and solutions. /liliCollaborate with project leaders to identify and mitigate risks and claim opportunities. /liliProvide reliable contractual and commercial analysis upon management request. /liliTravel up to 20-30% as required. /li /ulpWe foster an agile, inclusive, and responsible culture where diverse individuals are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn, and advance their careers.
