Ph3Senior Finance Project Manager /h3 h3Purpose of the job /h3 pThe Project controller is in charge of the financial management and control of a project portfolio. At this level, he/she operates in full autonomy for large projects and can supervise a team of project controllers for a portfolio of large and complex projects. The role acts as the financial support and representative for the project manager, guaranteeing financial transparency throughout the project. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liEnsure project accounting adheres to company guidelines. /li liOrganise project reviews from start to finish of each contract and manage controlling and financial reporting in accordance with internal control rules. /li liEnsure project finance status reported in Sector Project Reviews is accurate and compliant with Alstom rules. /li liSupport the Project Manager and other functions as a finance partner. /li liPrepare project review content and periodical financial presentations jointly with the project team. /li liUnderstand project documents and systems, actively managing financial implications arising from them. /li liProduce all financial project reporting as requested (forecast cash flow, revenue, gross margin, etc.). /li liEnsure all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust, and compliant. /li liEnsure adequate establishment of onshore projects in conjunction with the local finance team. /li liControl and maintain full knowledge of all financial movements within project scope, ensuring proper reporting and reconciliation with project accounts and balance sheet positions. /li liManage interfaces with other expert functions such as tax, treasury, insurance, and contract management. /li liEnsure total consistency of all internal and external claims in project financials. /li liEnsure consistency in risk recognition and accounting for any risks and opportunities in projects, supporting correct risk recognition valuation and reporting. /li liProvide management with reliable financial data to assist decision‑making. /li liAd‑hoc reporting on projects, including special investigations of arising issues. /li liEnsure consistency with project teams (Planner, Sourcing, etc.). /li /ul h3Mandatory Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in a finance‑related field (accounting, finance, business administration, economics). /li li2–3 years of experience controlling large multinational construction projects. /li liExperience in project accounting. /li liExperience in contract management. /li /ul h3Competencies Skills /h3 ul liProficiency in Excel and preparation of spreadsheet reports. /li liAnalytical skills and forecasting ability. /li liExperience with ERP systems. /li liStrong communication and coordination skills. /li /ul pIntegrity, resilience /p h3Location /h3 pMilano / Roma / Bologna / Vado Ligure /p pAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company, where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
