Your responsibilities will span across modeling active antenna systems, performing electromagnetic analysis, optimizing fabrication processes, and conducting rigorous testing to ensure top‑tier performance. Job Location Legnaro (PD) with flexibility for some remote working. Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and model passive and active antennas for WiFi, 5G, BLE, and UWB devices across sub‑GHz and mmWave frequencies. Develop and optimize control circuitry for beam‑steering antenna systems. Perform electromagnetic simulations using industry‑standard tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, or equivalent. Conduct antenna measurements, validation, and performance evaluation within the final system environment. Collaborate with system engineers to define specifications and performance targets for advanced wireless systems. Work closely with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and proactively solve fabrication challenges. Take ownership of project timelines, technical deliverables, and execution milestones, ensuring activities are completed on schedule and aligned with product objectives. Contribute to continuous innovation, technical improvements, and product performance optimization.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. A PhD is a plus. Experience with antenna design; experience with active antennas is a plus. Experience in using simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, etc. Familiarity with RF measurement instruments and techniques. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Self‑motivated, proactive, and passionate about innovation and continuous learning. Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive technical activities to completion within agreed timelines. Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
