This role ensures consistent product quality, maintains a clean and efficient workstation, and supports smooth kitchen operations during all service periods. Responsibilities include preparing special meals or substitute items, regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, pulling food from freezer storage to thaw, ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and garnish, maintaining food logs, monitoring quality and quantity of food prepared, communicating assistance needed during busy periods, informing Chef of excess items for daily specials, informing F&B staff of menu specials and out‑of‑stock items, preparing and cooking food according to recipes and standards, and preparing cold foods. The Pizzaiolo also assists management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; follows all company and safety policies, reports maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions, maintains uniform appearance, protects proprietary information, anticipates guests’ service needs, and performs other reasonable duties as requested.Preferred QualificationsExperience as a pizzaiolo or in a similar culinary role.Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.License or Certification: None.At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
