Based in Milan, within the Aviation Underwriting Department of the GC&CI Line of Business, you will join a specialized team and support the development and management of the Aviation portfolio, working closely with Senior Underwriters in a technically complex and international environment.
You will be involved in the underwriting and management of Aviation risks, with increasing autonomy over time, and will contribute to the analysis, assessment and negotiation of insurance solutions for mononational and multinational clients.
Main tasks:
* analysis, technical assessment and underwriting of Aviation risks for mononational and/or multinational clients
* underwriting of Aircraft Hull All Risks & Liability, Aviation Third Party Liability, Aviation Personal Accident, Aviation Crew Loss of Licence
* support in negotiations with clients and brokers
* portfolio management and ongoing support to clients during the policy lifecycle

Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Law, Engineering or Statistics
* fluent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
* strong analytical skills, ability to assess complex risks and support underwriting decision-making
* team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders
* excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
* proactive attitude, ability to prioritize tasks and manage frequent changes
* comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment
* good command of main IT tools (Office, MS Teams, Copilot or similar assistants)
* previous experience in the Property & Casualty insurance field, preferably within Corporate or Specialty underwriting, will be considered a plus
