For an assignment at a prestigious Automotive company, we are looking for an Electronics Trackside & Testing Engineer to join the Power Unit Electronics Operations team, contributing to testing, simulation and trackside activities within a high-performance motorsport environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting, managing and troubleshooting the complete electronic system across test benches, test rooms, simulators and track activities, working closely with the Electronics Testing Supervisor. After an initial training phase, the role may involve on-track support, contributing directly to vehicle performance and operational reliability in highly demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical support for the complete electronic system in:
- Test rooms and test benches (on-site and off-site)
- Driving simulator environments
- Trackside operations
- Program and deploy application software on on-board electronic devices
- Configure and manage programming tools for:
- On-board electronics
- Telemetry systems
- Set up and manage control parameters, strategies and calibration activities related to electronic systems
- Provide consulting and support on control parameters implemented in the software
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem solving on electronic system anomalies, including:
- ECUs
- Software
- ToolsWiring and sensors
- Analyze control software models using MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow
- Work in a shift-based organization, including weekends on rotation
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or Automation Engineering
- Experience (or strong exposure) to automotive electronic systems
- Solid knowledge of:
- Automotive electronic architectures
- CAN and ARCNET communication protocols
- Automotive control strategies
- Calibration activities
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow
- High flexibility in working hours and availability to manage last-minute schedule changes
- Willingness to travel extensively for track activities (up to 180 days per year)
- Strong team-working attitude in multicultural and high-pressure environments
- Excellent stress management and concentration skills
- Pragmatic, hands-on mindset
Preferred Background
- Previous experience in Motorsport (Car and/or Motorcycle racing)
- Trackside operational experience
- Background in companies operating within the Motorsport ecosystem
