Imagine your job:
As a Junior Process Engineer, you will be part of Novamont, a Versalis company. In particular, within your Corporate Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the structure in the development of innovation projects relating to downstream and upstream plants in the bioplastics and chemical intermediates segment.
Main activities:
* Collaborate in the development of new products and production processes.
* Participate in the design and conduct of experimental tests at the pilot laboratory/industrial demonstrator level.
* Collaborate in defining unit operations to ensure correct scale transitions.
* Develop and process material and energy balances while being familiar with process simulation models.
* Participate in the drafting of technical-economic feasibility studies for the implementation of new initiatives.
* Collaborate in improving production processes.
* Participate in the study and design activities of process plants and equipment from basic engineering and when required up to detail by developing technical specifications and sizing.
Required features:
* Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering
* Maximum 3 years experience preferably in industrial chemical processes
* Excellent knowledge of the English language
* Knowledge of Project Management is appreciated
* Availability to travel and/or stay for extended periods at other units of the Company
