We are looking for a Chief Process Engineer to become part of our Team in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).
Your role and responsibilities:
* Prepare the deliverables planning of the Process discipline, in line with the project schedule.
* Control, review and monitor any progress deviation from the plan and set up recovery plan, as necessary.
* Plan discipline engineering mhrs in line with the progress schedule and budget. Control review and monitor any deviation (spent mhrs vs earned mhrs).
* Approve all deliverables issued by the Process discipline for the project: Heat&Mass Balances, P&ID’s, PFD’s, UFD’s, calculations & reports, process descriptions, data sheets, lists, procedures, etc.
* Coordinate engineering subcontractor activities.
* Participate to HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and Risk Assessment studies.
* Ensure that Process engineering is developed with the proper coordination among the other disciplines.
* Analyse project constraints and take prompt actions in order to solve any issue arising during engineering development.
* Propose optimization/changes in order to minimize quantity/costs or optimize project schedule.
* Support Site Technical Office during commissioning phases.
* Review Tender Documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase.
Our ideal candidate has the following core competencies:
* Process Engineering background.
* Deep knowledge of main international codes, standards and best process engineering practices (API, TEMA, ASME, etc).
* Experience in Process Engineering leadership in EPC projects.
* Long-standing experience in Process Engineering in Oil&Gas/Petrochemical/Energy projects (10-15 years).
* Knowledge of discipline software tools (Hysys, Unisim, HTRI, EDR, etc).
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Bachelor/Master Degree in Chemical Engineering.
