Mets is one of the well-known companies in smart home appliances and the information technology market. We are looking for a Tax & Accounting Manager for our Italy team. The role is responsible for managing statutory accounting, tax compliance, and tax audit activities in Italy. This role ensures full compliance with Italian GAAP, local tax regulations, and group policies, while acting as a key contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead local accounting operations in line with Italian GAAP and IFRS, ensuring compliance with global HQ policies.
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and statutory reporting.
* Act as key contact for external auditors and tax authorities, including tax audits and inspections.
* Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance (CIT, IRAP, VAT, withholding taxes).
* Manage and develop the local accounting team; ensure high-quality delivery and internal controls.
* Support HQ reporting, group audits, and IFRS-related topics.
* Drive process improvements and system alignment with global standards (SAP).
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 10+ years of accounting experience, including team management experience.
* Hands-on experience in managing tax audits in Italy.
* Solid experience with IFRS and Italian GAAP.
* Strong SAP user (FI/CO preferred).
* Experience in multinational, HQ-controlled environments is highly preferred.

Il Ruolo La figura di Accounting & Reporting Manager, è responsabile di tutte le attività di accounting, reporting, tesoreria e compliance fiscale per diverse entità legali in Italia. Il ruolo prevede il coordinamento di un team di professionisti e la collaborazione con gli altri team a livello finance.
Principali responsabilità:
* Guidare il team di Accounting & Reporting, promuovendo una cultura orientata alle alte performance.
* Supervisionare le operazioni di contabilità generale, le chiusure mensili/trimestrali/annuali e la reportistica civilistica secondo IFRS e principi contabili italiani (Italian GAAP).
* Gestire le attività di tesoreria, inclusa l’ottimizzazione dei flussi di cassa e la riconciliazione dei prestiti infragruppo.
* Assicurare la compliance fiscale coordinandosi con consulenti esterni.
* Progettare e implementare solidi controlli interni, interfacciandosi con revisori e autorità fiscali.
* Lavorare in team e favorire la collaborazione.
* Fornire analisi finanziarie strategiche a supporto di forecast, budget e decisioni manageriali.
* Guidare iniziative di miglioramento dei processi, automazione e ottimizzazione di ERP e strumenti di reporting.
Requisiti
* Laurea magistrale in Accounting, Finanza, Economia o discipline affini;
* Oltre 10 anni di esperienza crescente in ambito accounting e reporting, di cui almeno 3–5 anni in ruoli manageriali.
* Solida esperienza in gruppi multinationali e/o in società di revisione Big 4.
* L’esperienza internazionale è considerata un plus rilevante.
* Conoscenza approfondita degli IFRS e degli Italian GAAP;
* Ottima padronanza di SAP (FI/CO) e Microsoft Excel;
* Fluenza in inglese.
