Shop Circle, a fast-growing AI-driven B2B software holding company on a mission to power the digital infrastructure of modern enterprises, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join Circle X, its centralised AI team driving automation and embedding AI across the entire portfolio.

Responsibilities
\n
Experiment with and optimise ML models and advanced LLM-based solutions, building evaluation and benchmarking frameworks to ensure quality, reduce hallucination, and improve performance across products
\n
Lead AI Due Diligence on potential acquisitions, assessing data advantage, AI replacement risks, technical feasibility, and defensibility
\n
Design and improve RAG systems — including retrieval, chunking, embeddings, and ranking — to maximise model accuracy and reliability at scale
\n
Monitor model performance, accuracy, and ROI in production, optimising latency, cost, and reliability across the portfolio
\n
Build reusable ML components shared across multiple products
\n
Qualifications
\n
You hold a strong academic background in STEM disciplines
\n
You have 4–6 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on model development, evaluation, and applied ML — plus hands-on exposure to Generative AI
\n
You are proficient in Python, vector databases, and embedding/RAG techniques, with experience working with LLMs
\n
You are fluent in English, the primary language across the business
\n
Plus: experience with AWS Bedrock
