Summary
This position is located at the Fitness Branch of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, NAS Sigonella. Incumbent performs a variety of duties in support of the Sports programs.
Duties
Help
Performs a variety of duties in support of the Sports programs.
Provides necessary services and information to authorized patrons.
Ensures adherence to regulations, safety and security procedures.
Assists in maintaining routine reports, inventory control and clerical duties.
Performs basic custodial and general maintenance tasks.
Provides support for recreation events set up and break down.
Operates a cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system, receives payments and makes change.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Must satisfactorily complete a background investigation.
* Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and schedule is subject to change and may include working evenings, weekends, holidays.
* Military personnel, if selected, must provide PCS Orders to Sigonella and written authorization from their command to work during off-duty hours.
* Civilian candidates must be in possession of No-Fee government passport, Italian mission visa, Sponsor's Orders or Command-sponsorship authorization, and Sojourner's permit or application letter.
* Male candidates born after December 31, 1959, and at least 18 years of age, are required to certify that they have registered with the Selective Service System (Attach proof of registration).
* Will be required to obtain Emergency First Responder or CPR/First Aid/AED certification, Customer Service Training and Alcohol Safety Certification within the first 90 days of employment.
* Work may require long periods of standing, bending and lifting of moderately heavy items up to 40 pounds without assistance and occasional lifting heavier items with assistance.

: Three (3) months of general experience

high school diploma (or GED/equivalent).

is (1) any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position.
Education
