To support this journey, we seek a strategic Head of People to develop and scale the People function across Europe and beyond (8 offices in 4 countries). Your Role in BizAway We are looking for a high-energy, dynamic, and innovative Head of People to support our growth. Our people are key to our success and will enable us to achieve our aspirations. Manage and develop the current People team (8 members) during our expansion phase. Contribute to creating procedures for workforce growth and employee career development during a pivotal organizational growth period. Lead HR and People functions, including recruitment, development, retention, and engagement. Create and implement a compelling employee value proposition, fostering growth, performance review processes, and an inclusive, high-performance culture. In the first 12 months, you will: Develop a best-in-class Performance Management workflow. Scale talent acquisition processes to support 40% team growth. Manage employee engagement and relations, aiming to keep churn below 5%. Design leadership development programs for mid-level and senior managers. Ideal candidates will have: Proven experience in building HR functions, supporting growth from 250-500 to 1000 FTEs. Experience supporting tech scale-ups or similar environments. Strong management and international team leadership skills. Effective, empathetic communication with credibility and gravitas. Proactive, reliable, and well-organized with strategic and hands-on capabilities. Alignment with core values of Proactivity, Reliability, and Kindful Collaboration and Communication.
