We are now looking for a Vice President Marketing and Communication to take a leading role in shaping how Sandvik Coromant connects strategy, brand, customer value and culture — and to help drive our continued transformation and growth.
About The Role
As Vice President Marketing and Communication, you are a key member of the Sandvik Coromant Management Group, reporting directly to the President. You provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for our global marketing, communication and brand agenda, ensuring a unified and impactful approach across all customer and employee touchpoints.
You lead a global, multidisciplinary organization of +70 people covering brand and marketing strategy, demand marketing, content and channels, internal communication, media and external relations, and digital go-to-market transformation. In close collaboration with Sales, Product & Solutions Management, IT and Group functions, you translate business strategy into customer centric, data-driven and measurable outcomes. A central part of the role is leading the digital transformation of go-to-market, including the development of the web in close partnership with Information Technology.
You are accountable for media relations and reputation management, ensuring a strong, credible and consistent external presence. Change and crisis communication is central to the role, supporting leaders through change. You balance a yearly communication plan with timely responses to organizational needs, especially during change and urgent matters. As a member of the business area Machining Communications, Brand and Marketing Management team, you contribute to the overall Machining communications strategy and governance, and you drive cross-divisional priorities and synergies.
In addition, you lead, develop and inspire a high-performing global leadership team, building strong capabilities, engagement and trust. The role also includes responsibility for the Site Management for Sandvik Coromant headquarters in Sandviken, ensuring a safe, engaging and well-functioning workplace.
Global travel is part of the role and the location is flexible within Europe.
Your profile
We are looking for a senior leader who combines a strong strategic perspective with the ability to execute and deliver results in a complex, global environment. You bring extensive experience in marketing, communication, brand and go-to-market leadership, ideally from a global industrial or B2B context.
You operate comfortably at both strategic and operational levels, communicate with clarity and impact at executive level, and bring a customer-centric, data-driven and digitally curious mindset. An interest in technology and digital development is important, as is the ability to navigate complexity and prioritize what creates the greatest value.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. A university degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field is expected. You have more than 15 years of experience.

Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing responsive, professional support while driving revenue growth. This role works closely with Sales, Key Account Managers, and cross‑functional teams to manage orders, support technical assessments, develop pricing inputs, and contribute to long‑term customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Relationship Building

* Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate responses.
* Build strong customer relationships as part of the sales and account team.
* Assess customer needs and route complex issues to the appropriate internal resources.
* Take ownership of customer concerns and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
* Proactively communicate order updates, backlog issues, and other relevant information.
Sales Order Support
* Process sales orders via phone, email, and E‑business platforms.
* Manage urgent and expedited orders to meet customer delivery timelines.
* Support aftermarket sales activities, including quoting, supplier coordination, delivery scheduling, and invoicing.
* Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to support cash collection.
Sales-Driven Responsibilities
* Initiate proactive outreach to existing customers to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
* Support Outside Sales with quotations, technical assessments, pricing inputs, and preparation for key account meetings.
* Participate in onsite customer visits and contribute to account growth strategies.
* Develop and maintain product forecasts, demand planning inputs, and sales documentation.
* Provide business intelligence on market trends, competitive activity, and customer behaviors.
* Support continuous improvement of Salesforce usage and digital sales channels.
Operational Coordination
* Utilize internal tools to fulfill customer requirements.
* Maintain accurate backorder reports and participate in customer review meetings.
* Support Key Account Managers with quotes, availability, forecasting, pricing, and technical requests.
* Coordinate freight quotes, arrange shipments, and obtain proof of delivery.
* Manage container orders and ensure timely delivery and invoicing.
* Prepare monthly CSR reports.
Technical Sales Support
* Assess technical compatibility of components and escalate to technical teams when necessary.
* Build and maintain product knowledge to support consultative customer discussions.
EHS Responsibilities
* Demonstrate commitment to Sandvik’s safety‑first culture.
* Maintain up‑to‑date EHS training and comply with PPE and safety protocols.
* Participate in hazard reporting and safety initiatives.
Team Collaboration
* Work effectively in virtual and in‑office environments.
* Engage actively in team communication and collaboration.
* Participate in weekly virtual and in‑person meetings.
* Contribute to team‑building and a collaborative culture.
Position Requirements
Education / Experience
* Associates Degree, College diploma or equivalent experience
* 2 - 5 years customer service experience
