Job PurposeWe are looking for a Finance Controller to join our team in Stavanger.
The Finance Controller is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the accounting and finance function in the Norway and UK offices and will provide support, advice and expertise related to accounting and finance.
Job Description :Act in accordance with our HSEQ policy, statements and rules
Lead and coordinate accounting & financial reporting on performance and planning monthly, Quarterly and Yearly
Coordinate between accounting, tax & finance operations in Norway and UK
Support Finance Director with financial statements, analysis and other ad-hoc requests
Participates in general structuring and development of the Company's financial reporting management system
Participate in the Company's audit and other relevant third party
General cost control and follow up for projects and operations
Prepare necessary monthly invoice for operation, consumables, variation orders and engineering hours
Control versus supplier PO's and posting of incoming invoices
Various ad-hoc work for finance and operations
Responsible for all invoicing to Customer
Keep Unit 4 Hours registration system updated
Bank transactions and reconciliations
Continuously drive and implement improvements and simplifications of local finance processes
You are meant for this job if :BA Economics and Business Administration.
Experience may compensate for lack of formal education
Experience preferably related to financial work in the oil and gas sector
Experience with SAP, Excel & Accounting
Experience with VISMA would be advantageous
