Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Materials EngineeringMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in flat glass manufacturing processing especially in offline coated glass – including cutting, edge processing, tempering, IGU productionPreferably field experience in production or quality engineeringStrong understanding of flat glass production processes, especially coated glass processesFamiliarity with quality tools such as 8D, root cause analysis, and process auditsGood command of Italian and EnglishStrong regional knowledgeExperience in customer-facing roles, preferably in production & qualityExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environmentsNo travel restrictions and having a valid driving licenseWilling to be based in North Italy and travel frequently (in Italy and/or abroad)
Job Description
Conduct on-site customer visits across Europe to address technical issues and provide immediate supportMonitor field quality, shipment integrity, and line performance during trial productionsConduct product and process validation at customer lines to ensure suitability for customer applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining strong client relationshipsCollaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues across production processes and report findings and customer insights to internal teams for continuous improvement
