Workplace: TOPCON Facility Centre in Concordia sulla Secchia, Italy The role can be performed 100% remotely within Italy, with a visit to our Concordia office once a week. JOB PURPOSE: Ensure software quality by testing web applications and services. Develop automated tests using Python and Playwright. Analyze test results to identify issues. Collaborate closely with developers and project managers for requirements clarification and use case development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts, including documentation of test steps, expected, and actual results. Analyze test outcomes, report defects with detailed reproduction steps using bug tracking tools. Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing, including load and stress testing. Provide feedback on software quality and recommend improvements, tracking defects and issues. Inspect browser console messages to identify errors and monitor network activity to diagnose frontend/backend issues. Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, user stories, and use cases, providing feasibility feedback. Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright. Maintain test data and environments supporting testing activities. Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards for automated tests. Foster an inspiring team environment with open communication. Education, Skills, and Attributes: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation. Knowledge of testing tools like Jira and TestRail. Programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML.
