Key Responsibilities
The Clinical IT Specialist plays a vital role in planning, developing, and implementing Clinical IT solutions for the organization. Key responsibilities include:
* Implementing and configuring Clinical IT solutions to meet customer needs and expectations.
* Ensuring careful and accurate control of projects, including project documentation and reporting.
* Managing issues that may arise during implementation and identifying corrective actions necessary to complete projects within the required timeline.
* Building and preserving relationships with customers through follow-up and targeted solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Acting as a trusted consultant for Clinical IT solutions with both customers and internal stakeholders.
* Relaying customer feedback received according to established process.
* Sharing new ideas on possible improvements and developments for Clinical IT products.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent, or at least 5 years' experience in IT solutions for IVD market (LIS, Middleware, or Automation Systems) from a user, applications, or configuration perspective.
* Networking skills, virtual environments such as Hyper-V or VMware, and Windows Server Operating Systems.
* Laboratory analyzer connectivity and/or HL7, ASTM communication protocols.
* Fluency in Italian and English, with excellence in communication and a listening, can-do attitude.
* Team player with great collaboration skills across own team and stakeholder teams.
* Ability to proactively self-organize and manage competing priorities in a demanding environment.
* Availability to work flexible hours and travel 50%-70% of the time in Italy or Europe.
