COMMODITY MANAGER ELECTRONIC COMPONENTSThe Commodity Manager is responsible for defining and developing the procurement strategy for a group of commodities.In this role, you will be accountable for managing the commercial relationships with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders, with the objective of minimizing the total cost of ownership and maximizing the quality and the reliability of the supply chain.What You'll Be Doing Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Tier 2 electronic components based on market dynamics and technology trendsBuild strong relationships with component manufacturers and distributors to secure supply continuity and access to innovationNegotiate agreements balancing cost, quality, and long-term availabilityMonitor electronic component market trends (e.G., lead times, allocation risks, obsolescence) and proactively adapt sourcing strategiesCollaborate with R&D and engineering to influence component selection and design choicesManage lifecycle risks, including obsolescence and end-of-life strategiesDrive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability metricsWork cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Finance teamsDeliver on key KPIs (cost savings, NOWC, PPM, supplier consolidation, contract coverage)Act as the interface with internal electronics manufacturing site to align sourcing with production needs What's Needed For You To Thrive Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, in addition Business Administration is a plus.Minimum 3 years of experience procurement and purchasing within a global organization, mainly in Electrical/Electronic CommoditiesExperiences in adjacent disciplines such as Electronic Engineering/Design, Supply Chain, R&D are also welcomed.Proficiency in Microsoft office.Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environmentExcellent listening, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlinesWilling to travelFluent in English; Knowledge of other language (specifically French) is considered an advantage What's In It For You Be part of a company grounded in customer focus, sustainability leadership, innovation, and social impact.
