Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars. /p h3ResponsIbilities /h3 ul liTo ensure that all aspect of the service contract are efficiently and effectively managed and to ensure that customer deliverables in the way of Availability, Reliability and Safety are constantly achieved, maintaining support for the commercial need of the business. /li liEnsure work is performed in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the Health Safety at Work Rules and Regulations, ANSF standards and ECM regulations (where applicable), ALSTOM Policies and Procedures. /li liTo be responsible for the train delivery, ensuring trains are made available to meet customer contractual requirements /li liEnsure that fleet performance is monitored in order to deliver customer requirements continuously, and that corrective action is taken when fleet performance fails to meet targets /li liTo be responsible for the overall management and development of preventive and corrective staff compentences /li liEnsure that ALSTOM policies for development of people, including objective setting and appraisal, are fully implemented at the unit /li liEnsure interfaces with contractors are managed correctly according to the National working rules /li liEnsure interfaces with suppliers, including other ALSTOM units, are managed correctly /li liTo lead key business initiatives and implement on depots as appropriate to include APSYS (Kaizen continuous improvement) /li liTo carry out specific Health and Safety duties. This includes the setting of Safety objectives and targets for staff and managers, and the achievements of safety targets as set by the Trains operations manager. /li liTo ensure that documented Quality procedures are adhered to, and that departmental quality procedures are maintained and updated as required, to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 /li liTo carry out Quality, Safety and Communication briefings as required /li liEnsure that the data input process in the maintenance management information system is correctly done and the use of ERP system is optimal /li liEnsure that the use of calibrated tools are under control through the calibration /li liEnsure that the training packages and certifications for specific works are up to date and under control. /li liTo manage and lead the continuous improvement activities for the site /li /ul h3Education required /h3 pTechnical Mechanical or Electrical degree /p h3Languages /h3 pFluent professional English is required /p h3Experiences required /h3 ul liTechnical experience and expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering (+5 years) /li liExperience of maintenance or production management in the railway industry or similar (+5 years) /li liProject Management experience would be a plus /li /ul h3Technical competencies /h3 ul liTechnical knowledge of the trains /li liIT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liAbility to communicate effectively and influence at all levels in the organization /li liGood understanding of production planning, time scheduling, construction planning, logistics planning /li liResult orientation and ability to solve problems /li liStrong Leadership Team Management /li liCommunication, Negotiation and Relationship with Customer, Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders /li liContinuous Improvement approach, oriented to customer satisfaction /li /ul pYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
