YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Reporting to the Global Head of Development, you will be primarily responsible for managing the renewable energy developments in the assigned market and contributing to expanding that pipeline. You will also be expected to build and lead a development team in the country, with the capacity to both manage ongoing projects and originate new opportunities: Conduct feasibility studies for new developments (preliminary phase), including risk analysis and other inputs for investment decision-making. Lead the development and permitting of the project portfolio from greenfield to RTB. Engage, negotiate, and manage stakeholders involved in the development process: landowners, municipal authorities, project developers, technical and/or environmental consultants, financial institutions, and others. Supervise other developers when a Development Services Agreement (DSA) is in place with a third party. Coordinate with internal teams supporting the project. Create and maintain updated documents on project status, budget, and timeline. Ensure compliance with project deadlines and budget, measuring and correcting deviations as needed. Find solutions to unforeseen issues that arise during the development process. Report project status updates to senior management. Build, manage, and retain a team of developers. Stay up to date with changes in regulations applicable to projects. Continuously improve, evaluate, and optimize the project development process. Comply with internal occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, supporting best practices defined by the organization and participating in actions necessary for their implementation. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT This department develops new business opportunities from the initial study phase, launching development processes in key markets. YOUR PROFILE Degree in engineering electrical or energy. No experience required in the development and permitting of renewable energy projects, preferably photovoltaic. Understanding of the country’s electricity market operations, as well as knowledge of applicable regulations and their changes. Proven experience in various areas of project development, including administrative processes, land lease agreements, and interconnection to the electrical system. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with landowners, suppliers, public and private administrations, and financial institutions. Ability to understand the full lifecycle of a photovoltaic project. Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) is required. Knowledge of another language, such as English and/or Spanish, is desirable.
