Ph3Overview /h3 pWithin Generali the Risk Management ensures continuous monitoring of the most significant risks and is devoted to guarantee effective risk control. /p pThe Analyst will be responsible for the evaluation of corporates' and financial institution creditworthiness. Specifically, the analysis will focus on the ability of the issuers to repay financial obligations based on the analysis of the borrower's credit profile. The assessment will be based on the internal methodologies developed by the team and could potentially be translated into the assignment of Internal Credit Ratings. S/He will also support the Head of the Unit in developing and executing the enhancement and maintenance of the credit rating framework and reinforcing risk management capabilities to ensure internal and regulatory compliance. In addition, part of the responsibilities will include project management leading and oversight of various analytical, IT infrastructure and operational projects. /p pThe resource will perform complex analysis to identify opportunities to effectively measure risk. The resources will cover the following task/responsibility: /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide rating for Private Debt Investments/Opinion /li liVerify the need to provide an internal credit rating according to Mandates, Pension Funds, OICR (as requested by the ESMA regulation - non overreliance on external rating) /li liOversight the activity performed by the external provider • assist and deep dive on each data received from the provider /li liPerform a monthly reporting on the internal credit rating calculated for the Credit Risk Committee /li liKeep the relationship with clients for the service requested /li liAnalyze and develop new risk metrics relying on the information retrieved from the rating calculated (e.g. probability of default…) /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s Degree desired, BA/BS in Economics, Finance or related field required /li liRelevant (at least 1/2 years) existing knowledge and experience in the credit/risk analysis of non-financial corporates with very strong accounting knowledge /li liFluency in English (written and spoken); /li liBe able to work autonomously to ultimately deliver a final product without any oversight /li liHave a collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills /li liAdvanced project management and presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication /li liA clear advantage would be to have gained relevant experience within one of the main rating agencies within the Non-Financial Corporate segment or having worked in a credit department of a major financial institution /li liPossess strong knowledge of financial products, business processes, and industry best practices and regulatory requirements for model risk management /li /ul h3Company Profile /h3 pGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development, and welfare of modern societies.
