To expand our team, we are looking for a Production Planner.
The position reports directly to the Plant Director. After an initial training period aimed at gaining in-depth knowledge of the production cycles of the various departments, the role will collaborate synergistically with key company functions, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Research & Development, and Logistics.
The role involves active participation in the planning and monitoring of production activities, with the goal of ensuring process efficiency, meeting deadlines, and continuously improving operational performance.
Management and optimization of the production planning process
Interface with the Quality Control Laboratory for scheduling tests on raw materials and finished products
Collaboration with the Purchasing Department for planning requirements and monitoring inventory levels
Drafting production plans in synergy with the Sales and Operations teams.
Management of production priorities and urgencies, coordinating timelines up to release.
Communication with Customer Service and Sales for updates and new planning.
Process analysis through reports and KPIs
Adjustment of production schedules based on demand fluctuations
Proposals for continuous improvement of production flows and processes
Monitoring of production progress in collaboration with internal and external departments
Application of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles and tracking of improvement project status.
Previous experience in production planning, preferably in chemical-pharmaceutical companies
At least 3-5 years of work experience in the same role
Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Project Management
Ability to work in a team, negotiation and critical thinking as well as planning and organizational skills and result orientation
