The Senior HR\nBusiness Partner will be an advisor to senior Operations leaders, utilizing\ntheir strong HR experience and expertise. You will develop and execute business\nstrategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce\nplanning and employee engagement. As a natural culture steward, you will partner\nwith internal stakeholders to integrate Amazon’s peculiar culture into the\nemployee experience. In addition, you will put in place standard processes and\npolicies enabled by standard work and help guide the organization through change\nby being champions of Change Management. You will be the proxy for the HR\nManager at your Fulfilment Center.\n\n\nKey job responsibilities\n· Drive Associate engagement programs, acting as Employee Relations Subject\nMatter Expert, monitor Associate feedback to drive effective employee relations,\nretention and reward programs\n· Manage labor relations if applicable and complex cases with both internal and\nexternal stakeholders, while integrating legislative shifts into HR policy and\npractices\n· Create people-centric plans to meet business demands through a strong\nunderstanding of how talent fits into the business strategy and how to develop\ntalent\n· Coordinate with management to build and execute recruitment of middle and\nsenior management, on boarding, training and development initiatives\n· Facilitate and manage the talent review process and succession planning in\npartnership with management\n· Draw insights from data to improve processes, employee engagement and policy\nalignment across the business\n· Manage and deploy complex HR projects and lead change initiatives, including\nimplementing new tools and technology that will provide better support to\nstakeholders\n\nA day in the life\nYou’ll be based in an Amazon Fulfilment Centre, Delivery Station or Sortation\nCentre, and will be the main representative to the Operations leadership at your\nlocation. You’ll work flexibly with colleagues in different areas of the\nbusiness to work towards making Amazon Earth’s best employer, from carrying out\nnew business-wide programmes to assisting with employee relations.\n\nNo two days are the same as a Senior HR Business Partner. Basic Qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree\nin an HR related field or equivalent through experience\n- Experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced distribution or\nmanufacturing environment\n- Knowledge of external practices, trends and tools used in HR\n- Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems\n- Fluent command of English in both written and verbal form\n- Ability to use analytical and experiential data for decision making\n- Influencing skills Preferred Qualifications: - A Master’s degree or MBA in an\nHR related field\n- Experience as a people leader, with a focus on hiring and developing the best\ntalent\n- Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach\nemployees of all levels in the organization\n- Intellectual curiosity to bring new insights to the business, preferably in a\nmulticultural environment\n- Ability to work independently, as an active member of both business and HR\nteams\n- Experience managing medium to large-scale projects\n\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
