As a Data Center Engineering Technician, you will help maintain the heartbeat of mission-critical technology infrastructure and contribute to achieving high uptime for global digital experiences.Engineering Technicians are Amazon's front line for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. You will maintain, operate, and troubleshoot data center facilities, including stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, three-phase electrical systems (switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, wet cell batteries and associated systems), CRAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers/water chemical systems, air handlers, pumps, and motors. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continuous access for customers.You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with teams across AWS to uphold safety and security standards while delivering capacity at optimal cost, within an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas and ownership.Note: Amazon does not sponsor immigration for this role (including H-1B, TN, and other non-immigrant visas).
