This position is key to protecting our people, supporting smooth plant operations, and driving continuous improvement; the role will be based in Latina. /p h3Your Responsibilities: /h3 ul libHealth Safety Compliance: /b ul liSupport the Datore di Lavoro and HSE Manager in ensuring full compliance with Italian HS legislation of the Italian legal entity (Segrate Headquarter and Latina Production Site). /li liDeliver safety trainings, conduct Risk Assessments and JSAs, and coordinate all inspections with external authorities. /li liPropose and implement improvement actions, ensuring timely follow‑up and completion. /li liContribute to corporate HS initiatives and support emergency plan reviews. /li liConduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring and manage MSDS according to Italian law and corporate requirements. /li liAct as a trusted advisor on Health Safety, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across the site. /li /ul /li libISO 45001 Management Systems: /b ul liDevelop, implement, and update HS procedures within the Responsible Care and ISO 45001 Management Systems. /li liEnsure employees are trained and informed about relevant procedures and updates. /li liGuarantee accurate reporting of accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses. /li liLead incident investigations using root‑cause analysis and ensure proper closure of corrective actions. /li /ul /li libAuditing Inspection: /b ul liConduct site inspections and evaluate workplaces, equipment, and practices for compliance. /li liPerform regular safety tours to enhance visibility and reinforce safety awareness. /li liExecute Internal Audits required under ISO certifications and identify improvement opportunities. /li liSupport the site’s overall Internal Audit program and track follow‑up actions. /li /ul /li libReporting Communication: /b ul liReport all site-related Health Safety performance indicators. /li liPrepare and submit audit, inspection, training, and monitoring reports. /li liEnsure effective communication with Corporate EHSS and accurate submission of safety metrics. /li liIssue Safety Alerts and updates to maintain strong safety awareness among employees. /li /ul /li /ul h3What You Bring: /h3 ul libEducation: /b ul liDegree in Engineering or another relevant technical field. /li /ul /li libTechnical Regulatory Expertise: /b ul liExcellent knowledge of Italian Health Safety laws, regulations, standards, and permitting requirements. /li liCertified RSPP qualification for chemical plant and experience gained in a production environment /li liQualification and proven experience as a safety trainer. /liliSolid understanding of safety processes, risk assessment methodologies, and auditing practices. /li liKnowledge of ISO 45001 and OHSAS principles; familiarity with REACH is an advantage. /li /ul /li libProfessional Experience: /b ul li3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. /li liDirect experience in handling inspections and interactions with public authorities. /li liProven ability to develop, implement, and improve safety processes. /li liStrong technical foundation combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. /li liLeadership mindset with the ability to influence, engage, and mobilize teams. /li liFact‑based, process‑oriented approach with strong analytical and reporting capabilities. /li liConfident in asserting ideas and gaining buy‑in across stakeholders. /li liProficient IT skills, especially Microsoft Office. /li liGood written and spoken English. /li /ul /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 pAt LANXESS, we value talent and welcome individuals who share our commitment to safety, innovation, and excellence.
