Job Description - International
Product Engineer Office
Responsibilities:
* Support the entire product development process from concept to production.
* Translate design concepts into engineering solutions using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
* Collaborate with industrial designers to maintain aesthetic and functional integrity.
* Develop and validate prototypes through testing and iteration.
* Ensure all engineering documentation (BOMs, drawings, specifications) is accurate.
* Partner with manufacturing and suppliers for efficient, high-quality production.
* Evaluate and optimize materials, costs, and manufacturing methods.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Stay updated on trends in materials, production technologies, and sustainability.
Skills and Competencies Required:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably in furniture, consumer goods, or industrial design sectors.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software and familiarity with PLM systems.
* Solid understanding of materials (metal, plastic, wood, textiles) and manufacturing processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
* Passion for design, innovation, and sustainability.
