Responsibilities Understand complex computer systems and cybersecurity terminology. Determine testing requirements, including the number and type of systems, and testing methodology. Plan and develop penetration testing methods, scripts, and procedures. Simulate security breaches to evaluate system security. Generate reports with findings, including identified security issues and risk assessments. Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce security risks. Present findings and risk assessments to management and stakeholders. Assess the potential business impact of simulated attacks. Understand how security flaws could affect business operations if unaddressed. Other Duties You may be asked to perform additional tasks as your role develops. Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Master's degree with distinction in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field. Strong knowledge of IT security issues, management systems (e.g., ISO 27001), and data protection. 2-5 years of experience in information security and IT risk management. Proficiency with current IT risks, security implementations, and software systems. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and Italian.
