You will contribute to the development, integration, and testing of the core software platform powering our industrial control systems. This platform is designed to manage distributed embedded units used in critical thermal systems and infrastructure environments, enabling high-resolution data acquisition, real-time diagnostics, and robust multi-device communication through industrial protocols. You will play a key role in shaping a modular, scalable, and future‑ready software foundation. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and implement software components in C/C++ and Python. /li liDevelop services and infrastructure on Linux-based embedded platforms. /li liImplement and maintain communication layers using protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, CANbus, MQTT, and other fieldbus systems. /li liWrite and maintain automation and deployment tools using Bash and Python. /li liContribute to the definition of the software architecture and apply design patterns for scalability and maintainability. /li liEnsure robustness and performance of the system through debugging, profiling, and optimization. /li liProduce and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, including module specifications, interface definitions, and integration guidelines. /li liCollaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (firmware, hardware, cloud, QA and tech service) throughout the development lifecycle. /li liDesign, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD to ensure efficient build, test, and deployment workflows. /li liContribute to the creation and management of containerized environments using Docker, supporting consistent development and deployment across systems. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Automation. /li liStrong programming skills in C/C++ and Python. /li liSolid understanding of Linux operating systems and Bash scripting (kernel knowledge is a plus). /li liExperience with industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, CANbus/CANopen, and MQTT. /li liGood knowledge of software engineering principles, version control, and design patterns. /li liDemonstrated attention to detail, structured thinking, and commitment to high‑quality results. /li liFluent in English, both spoken and written. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with embedded systems or edge computing architectures. /li liFamiliarity with networking tools, system diagnostics, or performance profiling. /li liKnowledge of Qt 5/6 for developing cross‑platform user interfaces. /li liExperience working with Yocto Project for building custom Linux distributions (nice to have). /li liPrior involvement in writing or maintaining software interface documentation or platform specifications. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
