HEAD OF RETAIL: POSITION: The Sales & Marketing Department of _DHL Express Italy _is looking for a Head of Retail. Reporting to the MD Sales & Marketing, who will have the responsibility of executing a successful Retail Strategy at the country level, in terms of Revenue, Footprint, Quality, Service Point and Brand Guidelines across all Walk-Click-Call channels. Essential requirements to apply: - 10 years of Sales background - 5 years of experiences in a Retail environment - Solid experience in managing teams - Good understanding of trade marketing and advertising (online and offline) - Fluent written and spoken English - Fluent written and spoken Italian - Travel time 50% Additional requirements: your differential plus: - Diploma/University Degree in Marketing/Economics or equivalent - Strong analytical skills / Data-driven mind-set: Excellent MS Office skills - Strong Results-orientation - Excellent leadership capabilities in managing and inspiring people, ability to motivate teams - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Interpersonal, networking and influencing skills - Strategic thinking and foresight - Ability to work under pressure and Self-Motivated KEY TASKS: Drive revenue growth and executing a consistent retail walk-click-call strategy across the country: - Lead the Commercial Retail Strategy - Make sure all flagships personnel are well trained and implement, with training department - Manage Flagships and Retail P&L - Manage promotional budget - Align Retail Commercial strategy with the overall Sales & Marketing approach - Execute trade-marketing guidelines and ensure all marketing materials align to the guidelines. - Implement the mono brand strategy. - Define and manage promotions according with central guidelines, working with all stakeholders involved. - Exploit all opportunities arising from DHL promotions to boost volumes and attract new customers. Design and drive the retail footprint: - Make sure the country has the right size of retail footprint, according to the Retail roadmap - Identify, Manage and further develop the retail service points and retail business setting up partnerships with local chains. - Implement a standardized partner remuneration model. - Make sure the Online Digital Retail Presence is in line with Regional strategy - Make sure the locker strategy is in line with the Retail one Develops the framework, methodology and tools: - Involving other functional heads such as Customer Service, Operations and IT to ensure that all teams contribute to provide Service Points and Customers a smooth experience in dealing with DHL Express, across all touchpoints. - Assure the country is well covered by Service Point based on market potential - Conduct regular visits to Service Point to ensure compliance in all aspects. - Make sure retail policies, procedures and roadmaps are in line with the regional one. - Ensuring an appropriate retail support structure in countries. People Management: - Manage and coordinate the activities, establishing intervention priorities, defining the methods and timing of work plans and ensuring their constant monitoring. - Motivate and promote professional growth, development and motivation of team members through coaching and feedback. - Promote team culture. - Stimulates and promotes cooperation with other internal stakeholders - Ensure appropriate talent selection, organization and leadership for major areas of team organization.
