Automotive engineering services buyer

Italdesign is looking for a Buyer with experience on Engineering Services in Automotive field. The candidate will join the Purchasing team of the headquarters and will report directly to the Responsible of the organizational unit. Responsibilities Tender and order management (technical specification from business unit collection, request for quotation submission, quotation harmonization and collection, negotiation, supplier nomination, order issue); Taking care of the results (KPI) achieving; Interfacing and working together with different speakers during the project meetings, consolidating relations and contributing to the integration into the Company and into the Group. Key requirements 3-5 years of experience in purchasing engineering services in automotive field; Knowledge of main purchasing technicality (purchase marketing, tender planning, risk management, economics data analysis, negotiation); Knowledge of main principle of contracts; Capability on make or buy analysis and on cost breakdown analysis; Capability on data analysis, reporting and presentation; Capability to interface and to cooperate with other organizational units and/or at different levels (both internal and suppliers / customers); Sense of integrity and responsibility; Take on responsibility, being able to share achievements with the team; Show initiative and work in a structured way. Preferred qualifications Dynamic and proactive approach; Able to work independently; Able to develop activities in compliance with BU needs, timing and quality content, collecting specifications and requesting quotations from the supply chain. Education Economic or Engineering background education. Languages Fluent written and spoken Italian and English required. Location Moncalieri (TO). Availability to travel.
