We are searching for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Industrial Technologies team in a remote capacity, with the option to work from a preferred office location. We offer flexible work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs. This includes both product and service-related support.
* Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs. Establish customer rapport with products and services.
* Work with all facets of the customer's organization, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives.
* Provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training.
* Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization.
* Support marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback.
* Support team members and peers to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Support all product and business promotional activities and participate in regional and international trade shows.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing OR R&D department.
* Familiar with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
* Knowledge and understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills (English and one of the European languages).
* Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
* Frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel and weekend travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Prior work experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial.
* Knowledge of the Chinese language will be beneficial but not required.
