**Job Description**:
For our Global Centre of Excellence we’re looking for an Industrial Hygiene & Occupational Health Manager: an important European role that will safeguard high standards of EHS compliance and workplace adherence, monitor emerging risks relative to employee health impacts and act as a Global SME, providing support on all health related topics impacting the various Country Groups in Europe.
**ABOUT YOU**:
You are a triple threat! Confident, results driven and good with people. As a IHOH manager you will be happy to roll up your sleeves and work both on technical topics as well as influence and support EHS professionals among the various European Country Groups.
**You have an Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health certification**. You have demonstrated proficiency leading IH, OH and other EHS functions; considering the manufacturing environment of the glass industry, a solid plant experience in heavy manufacturing industries and familiarity with trade union relationships are a must.

- EHS_
- maintain high standards of EHS compliance with a focus on IHOH.
- monitor emerging risks relative to employee health impacts
- monitor evolutions of specific chemical and physical agents impacting O-I at a global or regional level i.e. nickel and silica regulations across all European countries and EU
- STRATEGIC_
- develop effective relationships with Country Group EHS leaders in Europe,
- work shoulder to shoulder with our Global EHS Centre of Excellence
- lead the development of global programs and procedures
Like all global-based roles in our company, domestic and international travel will be required. O-I is a multinational company, and future career opportunities may be outside of Italy
**Qualifications**:
- An Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health certification
- At least a couple of years of experience leading IH and OH activities and projects
- A solid experience with heavy manufacturing environments
- Fluent English - any additional European language is a plus
