Our Corporate Real Estate EMEA team is responsible for over 12,000 properties across all DPDHL business units worldwide. This portfolio covers more than 30 million m2 and is managed by around 1,700 dedicated real estate experts globally.
We provide excellent services throughout the property lifecycle, including Commercial, Construction, and Facility Management, ensuring sustainable development and growth for DPDHL.
We are seeking a Facility Specialist to join our team in Peschiera Borromeo, Italia. This role involves managing part of DHL Express buildings portfolio, overseeing legal compliance, lease management, refurbishment projects, and stakeholder relationships, among other responsibilities.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Facility management of DHL Express buildings, including budgeting, works, timelines, and reporting.
2. Ensuring legal compliance, such as fire prevention certificates, coordinating renewals.
3. Monitoring lease expiration dates and developing strategies with DHL Express colleagues.
4. Providing real estate analysis and supporting DHL Express's real estate strategy.
5. Managing relationships with landlords and key stakeholders.
6. Supporting the preparation of business cases for building projects.
7. Managing refurbishment works, including selecting refurbishment companies and tracking project progress.
8. Ensuring projects adhere to global DHL guidelines, monitoring costs and timelines, and reporting.
Your profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building and Construction Engineering, Architectural Design, or similar.
* Knowledge of ESG topics and experience with 'Go Green' projects (PV, smart meters, LED lighting, EV charging stations).
* Fluent in English.
