In this role, you contribute to the R&D team by designing embedded hardware and firmware for chiller/A2W control systems. You’ll work across hardware and software to deliver a competitive controller while coordinating with cross‑functional teams. You’ll ensure compliance testing and produce technical documentation. This is an international, development‑focused opportunity within Panasonic’s purpose‑driven culture.

* Design and develop embedded hardware including PCB schematics and layout for control boards
* Develop and maintain embedded software (firmware) for microcontrollers using MATLAB/Simulink
* Select and evaluate electronic components (microcontrollers, power devices, etc.)
* Perform hardware and software debugging, signal analysis, and troubleshooting with oscilloscopes and related tools
* Conduct system‑level testing and validation for EMC, safety and internal standards
* Collaborate with mechanical, performance, planning, QA, and Factory teams to bring new products to market
* Prepare technical documentation for design, testing, production, and user instructions
* Management of supplier timelines, costs, and alignment with internal schedule and quality guidelines
Responsabilità
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
* Experience with Matlab/Simulink for control design, simulation, and modelling
* Hands‑on hardware debugging and measurement instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, power analyser)
* Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, especially motor drive, switched‑mode power supply, communication circuits
* Embedded C/C++ programming and RTOS knowledge
* Knowledge of Modbus and BACnet communication protocols
* English upper basic level
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams
